Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is one of the best hitters in baseball year after year, generating offense that few can match, even though his pitching has been sidelined due to Tommy John surgery.

After another highlight moment in a career already full of them, Shohei Ohtani earned a spot next to Barry Bonds on Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts' list of all-time great players.

With only a couple exceptions mixed in, the Los Angeles Dodgers have largely kept Shohei Ohtani on a schedule of throwing a light bullpen session every Wednesday and fuller work off the mound on Saturdays.
